This cushion cover is decorated by "lambadi embroidery". The product is made by women from a nomadic tribe in Tamilnadu. The women first do the authentic embroideries on fabric pieces which are later converted into exquisite cushions.

About Artisan:

Neela: I belong to a village near Tamil Nadu. I learned this craft from my grandmother and this is our traditional art. Initially, I was using this art to make our own clothes. A few years ago I started to convert this art in some other product which helps me to sustain my family.
